  1. What is the Jaringan Prihatin programme about?

    The Jaringan Prihatin programme is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia, in collaboration with the telecommunication Service Providers, whereby approximately RM2.0 billion has been allocated for the recipients of Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR), in the form of subsidised telco packages.

  2. How will I benefit from the Jaringan Prihatin programme?

    If you are an eligible recipient of the programme, you will be able to subscribe to a data plan or device bundle package offered by the participating Service Providers, which are jointly subsidised by the Government and the participating Service Providers.

    There are two types of subsidies offered by the Government in this programme;
    Subsidy 1: Monthly data plan subsidy rebate; or
    Subsidy 2: Device package subsidy.

    Total subsidy allocation for eligible recipients are as follows.

    • Category 1 - Married and Singles without children below 18 years old

      • Subsidy 1: RM15 per month for 12 months

      • Subsidy 2: RM180 device package subsidy

    • Category 2- Married and Singles with children below 18 years old

      • Subsidy 1: RM15 per month for 12 months

      • Subsidy 2: RM300 device package subsidy

    • Meanwhile, the value of benefits offered by the Service Providers will be of the same value but exact offers may vary. The way in which subsidies are disbursed will also depend on your respective Service Provider and your chosen data plan.

  3. How do I check if I am eligible for Jaringan Prihatin?

    You are eligible for Jaringan Prihatin if you have qualified for BPR. You may get more information and check your eligibility for the Jaringan Prihatin programme at https://bpr.hasil.gov.my/.

    In order to check eligibility, please follow the these steps:

    • Step 1: Using your internet browser, go to https://bpr.hasil.gov.my/

    • Step 2: Click “log masuk” on the top right of the webpage

    • Step 3: Enter your IC number and click “semak”

  4. When can I join the Jaringan Prihatin programme?

    Registration for the programme starts from 5 May 2021 and is extended until 30 September 2021. You may register with your selected Service Providers. The entire programme will last from 5 May 2021 to 30 September 2022.

  5. How long is the Programme Jaringan Prihatin period?

    The Jaringan Prihatin programme is a 12-month programme starting from the time you register. The last date for registration and redemption is extended until 30 September 2021, while the entire programme runs from 5 May 2021 to 30 September 2022.

  6. How can I join the Jaringan Prihatin programme?

    You may join the Jaringan Prihatin programme by signing up during the registration period at Tune Talk authorised stores/dealers or the Tune Talk Online Shop.

    The Jaringan Prihatin device bundle is only redeemable via the Tune Talk Self-Care app and/or SELECTED Tune Talk dealers/stores as listed here.

    Please check with Tune Talk’s website to see the list of data plans or device packages on offer, and for further information on registration and redemption of the subsidy.

  7. I am eligible for the Bantuan Prihatin Programme but I missed the deadline to join the Jaringan Prihatin program, can I still register?

    No, you will not be able to register once you have missed the deadline of 30 September 2021, even if you are eligible for the BPR programmes.

  8. If I encounter any issues and would like to appeal, how do I go about doing this?

    For BPR eligibility-related queries or appeals, please visit the BPR website (https://bpr.hasil.gov.my) or contact the BPR hotline (1800-88-2747) for more information. The upcoming window for BPR appeal will run from 15 June – 30 June 2021.

    For any other matters related to Tune Talk, you may contact Tune Talk’s customer care directly.

  9. How many times can I opt in for the Jaringan Prihatin programme?

    Each eligible MyKad is allowed to opt in for the Jaringan Prihatin programme only once during the registration period from 5 May 2021 and is extended until 30 September 2021. However, you are allowed to switch your registration to another service provider during the course of the programme, which lasts from 5 May 2021 to 30 September 2022.

  10. Will I have to go through the whole process of eligibility check and registration every single month?

    No, you are only required to go through the whole process of eligibility checking and registration once. The plan will automatically renew monthly with the RM15 subsidy applied, until all twelve iterations have been utilized. Kindly note that, if you have terminated your Jaringan Prihatin registration with Tune Talk before, then you are required to go through the full process of eligibility check and registration once again before purchasing a monthly data plan.

  11. How do I redeem my Jaringan Prihatin subsidy?

    Once you have successfully registered to the program, you may redeem your Jaringan Prihatin subsidy either via Tune Talk App or by walking into a Tune Talk dealer shop. The subsidy will automatically offset the amount from the subscription.

  12. I have applied for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) into Tune Talk and I have a temporary number. Can I register first, or should I wait for my port-in to be completed?

    You are strongly advised to wait until your port-in is successful to register and purchase PJP plans or bundles. Otherwise, to switch back to your actual (final) number, you would have to first terminate PJP and wait 30 days to register with your actual number. Number switching is also not permitted for device bundles.

  13. Once I have registered for Jaringan Prihatin with Tune Talk, is it possible to switch to another service provider?

    Yes. You can switch to another service provider upon completing the termination process with Tune Talk.

  14. How many times can I switch service providers of the Jaringan Prihatin ?

    You may switch up to 3 times from one service provider to another, but switching is only allowed after 30 days from your registration with your current service provider.

  15. What happens when I terminate my Jaringan Prihatin subsidy with Tune Talk? Will I still be able to continue with the same monthly data plan?

    Upon successful termination of Program Jaringan Prihatin registration with Tune Talk, you may still continue to subscribe to the same monthly data plan of your choice. However the RM15 monthly subsidy for Data plan will no longer be applicable, hence you will need to purchase the monthly data plan at the recommended retail price.

  16. Do I have to Register and Redeem my subsidy on the same day?

    It is not compulsory to Register and Redeem your Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy on the same day. You may register and redeem your Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy on different dates, however you would need to perform the first redemption before the 30 September 2021 to ensure that you are able to enjoy all twelve cycles of the RM15 Jaringan Prihatin monthly subsidy.

  17. I am eligible for the Program Jaringan Prihatin, and I have 2 mobile numbers. Can I claim the Jaringan Prihatin subsidy on both numbers?

    No, every eligible individual is allowed claims for ONE mobile number per National Registration Identification Card (NRIC). If you have two mobile numbers, you are free to choose one mobile number to enjoy the subsidy.

  18. How will I know if I have received the RM15 monthly subsidy? Will it be displayed in my account as RM15 credit?

    Upon successful redemption of the RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy for data plan, it will be displayed under the Jaringan Prihatin dashboard page on the Tune Talk App.

  19. Will I get RM15 in the form of credit / TopUp every month for 12 months via this program?

    No, the RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy will not come in the form of credit. It is applied as a discount to the Jaringan Prihatin plan of your choice, hence enabling you to purchase the Jaringan Prihatin plan at a cheaper price (RM15 less).

  20. If my account status is currently in the grace period (G1), can I still register and redeem Jaringan Prihatin monthly Data plan subsidy?

    You will be able to register to the Program Jaringan Prihatin Program but will not be able to redeem the RM15 Jaringan Prihatin subsidy. Kindly ensure that you are in Active “AC” status by performing a reload / topup prior to performing a redemption for the RM15 Jaringan Prihatin Monthly Data Plan.

  21. I have just subscribed to a data plan before registering the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy with Tune Talk, can my RM15 subsidy be utilized for this plan?

    No, the RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy cannot be applied to a Data plan that has been purchased prior to registration on the program. You may purchase a new monthly data plan with the RM15 Monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy applied. Kindly note that depending on the current status of your data plan subscription, you may choose to fully utilize the remaining quota before purchasing a Jaringan Prihatin Data plan or you may purchase a Jaringan Prihatin data plan immediately, with the remaining data quota for the current subscription being forfeited.

  22. Does this Jaringan Prihatin program include the Free Personal Accident Insurance coverage?

    Yes. If the collective sum of top-ups made and Jaringan Prihatin subsidy is RM50 or more in a particular month, then the subscriber will be covered for the free Personal Accident Insurance in the following month.

  23. If I am now subscribing to the JPM10 Data plan utilizing RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy, will I still get Tune Talk BIG Points as before?

    Yes, however the Tune Talk BIG Points credited will be based on the reload made. For example, if you made RM40 (RM20 x 2) reload to subscribe to JPM10 and utilizing the RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy, you will only get 80 Tune Talk BIG Points (40 Tune Talk BIG Points x 2), compared to the usual 120 Tune Talk BIG Points you get when reloading RM50 to subscribe to the regular M10 plan.

  1. What are the Jaringan Prihatin data plans?

    Jaringan Prihatin data plans are the plans specifically designed for subscribers who are eligible under the Program Jaringan Prihatin in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance Malaysia.

  2. How many Jaringan Prihatin data plans can I subscribe to?

    Eligible subscribers are entitled to one (1) subsidized subscription per calendar month. The Jaringan Prihatin subsidy counter resets every new calendar month.

  3. I am eligible for the Program Jaringan Prihatin, and I have 2 mobile numbers. Can I claim for Jaringan Prihatin subsidy on both numbers?

    No, every eligible individual is allowed claims for ONE mobile number per National Registration Identification Card (NRIC). If you have two mobile numbers, you are free to choose one mobile number to enjoy the subsidy.

  4. What if I am not able to utilize my RM15 subsidy this month, will it carry forward to the next month?

    No, the subsidy amount will not be carried forward. The plans are auto renewal and the subsidy amount will be claimed for the plans every month.

  5. Can I utilize the RM15 subsidy to purchase any plan that Tune Talk offers?

    You may purchase any Tune Talk plans under the Jaringan Prihatin program. However, you are not allowed to utilize the RM15 subsidy to purchase other Tune Talk offers.

  6. I have accidentally stopped my Jaringan Prihatin data plan subscription. Can I resubscribe to it?

    No, you may not resubscribe to any Jaringan Prihatin data plans within the same calendar month. However, you may subscribe to any non-Jaringan Prihatin Tune Talk data plans (subject to your tariff pack). Once the new month begins, you may resubscribe to the Jaringan Prihatin data plan.

  7. Do the Jaringan Prihatin data plans auto-renew?

    Yes, the Jaringan Prihatin data plans do auto-renew. Subscribers would need to ensure that there is sufficient credit balance in their account for the auto-renewal to take place.

  8. What happens if my credit balance is insufficient at the time of auto-renewal?

    The plan will not automatically renew. However, you may re-subscribe to any Jaringan Prihatin data plans if it is more than 30 days since your last Jaringan Prihatin data plan subscription.

  9. How much credit do I need to have in my account in order to purchase Jaringan Prihatin plans?

    To ensure you are able to enjoy the best experience, it is advisable to Register and redeem your subsidy on a new line to avoid any forfeiture of the remaining data on your current Y120 subscription.

  11. What is the FREE 2GB Bonus Data?

    The FREE 2GB Bonus Data is a freebie that is offered to all eligible subscribers of the Jaringan Prihatin data plans. It offers 2GB high speed data valid for 60 minutes, which can be redeemed daily.

  12. I am an eligible subscriber of the Jaringan Prihatin data plans. Will I still be able to redeem the FREE Productivity 1GB freebie?

    No, however you are entitled to the FREE 2GB Bonus Data which may be redeemed via the Tune Talk App.

  13. Who is eligible for the FREE 2GB Bonus Data?

    The FREE 2GB Bonus Data is available to subscribers who fulfill the following criteria:

    • Is in Active (AC) status

    • Has an active Jaringan Prihatin registration

    • Has an active Jaringan Prihatin data plan

  14. What time will the FREE 2GB high speed internet be available for utilization?

    Subscribers are allowed to redeem anytime from their Self Care app. Upon activation, subscribers are given 60 minutes to use the FREE 2GB.

  15. What happens if I have exhausted all my data quota and have to purchase another plan / booster, can I utilize my RM15 Jaringan Prihatin subsidy?

    The RM15 Jaringan Prihatin subsidy is only applicable for selected monthly data plans. For boosters purchases, you may reload the required amount and purchase as normal. It is not advisable to purchase another plan but to purchase boosters instead. This is to ensure seamless renewal of the selected Jaringan Prihatin plan with the RM15 monthly subsidy applied throughout your journey on the program.

  16. Can I switch to other Jaringan Prihatin plans and still enjoy the RM15 monthly Jaringan Prihatin subsidy?

    In order to switch to another Jaringan Prihatin plan and enjoy the RM15 monthly subsidy, you must first (STOP / Unsubscribe) your current data plan before the renewal date and subscribe to a new Jaringan Prihatin plan via SelfCare app. Kindly note that you can only redeem the RM15 monthly subsidy once per calendar month, hence might only be applicable for redemption in the following calendar month if you have already successfully redeemed for the current month.

  17. Will my selected plan be renewed automatically monthly?

    Yes, provided that you have sufficient credit balance in your account. Your selected monthly Jaringan Prihatin Data plan will auto - renew every month with the RM15 monthly subsidy applied until all counters have been utilized, unless you terminate your Jaringan Prihatin registration with Tune Talk.

  1. How do I check if I’m eligible for the device bundles offered?

    You may check your eligibility by keying in your NRIC in our dedicated PJP page here.

  2. How can I redeem the PJP device bundles?

    There are two ways you can redeem the device bundle.

    • Via the Tune Talk Self-care app

    • By visiting SELECTED Tune Talk dealers/stores as listed here.

  3. How long is the redemption period for the RM180 device bundle subsidy?

    All redemptions for device bundles (be it RM180 or RM300) are to be done within the registration and redemption window which starts on the 5th of May 2021 and is extended until 30 September 2021. Any attempt to redeem the subsidy on a device bundle from the 1 October 2021 onwards will not be successful.

  4. I signed up for a device package before 5th May 2021 (start of Jaringan Prihatin programme). Can I utilise RM180 device subsidy for that package?

    No, the device subsidy of Jaringan Prihatin programme is only applicable for device bundles offered by Service Providers as part of the Jaringan Prihatin Programme. You will be entitled however to utilise the RM15 per month subsidy.

  5. If an Eligible Subscriber is married or single with children, and chooses the Jaringan Prihatin RM300 subsidy, is there any particular plan that they would need to subscribe to?

    If an Eligible Subscriber chooses the RM300 subsidy, they will need to use the RM300 for a device bundle (i.e. Mobile device plus data plan) only.

  6. How do I track my parcel once I have made the purchase?

    You may track your parcel using the tracking number that will be provided to you via email.

  7. When will I receive my device?

    Delivery may take between 3 – 8 working days (depending on location) after successful redemption has been done.

  8. When and how do I know if my plan has been provisioned?

    Your plan will be provisioned within 24-48 hours after successful redemption. You may track your plan status and its usage via Tune Talk App.

  9. When will my monthly data renewal take place?

    Your monthly data plan will be auto renewing every 30 days provided you have sufficient credit at point of renewal. For more information on credit balance requirements for plan renewal kindly refer to table below:

    Yes. You may continue to subscribe to the data plan as per normal. Subscription can be done via Tune Talk App.

  12. What if my monthly data fully exhausted?

    You may add on our 10GB Booster for RM10 via Tune Talk App OR send SMS “B10” to “2222”.

  13. Can I subscribe to another plan on top of the current data plan?

    Your current subscription will be forfeited if you proceed to subscribe to another plan. Only one data plan can be active at one time. To add more data, you may purchase our 10GB Booster.

  14. Will my bundle data plan get deactivated if I do not have enough credit balance during plan renewal?

    Yes, the bundle data plan will be deactivated if you do not have sufficient credit balance in your account during plan renewal.

  15. Can I resume my bundle data plan after I have enough credit balance?

    Yes, you can re-purchase the data plan once you perform a top up and have enough credit balance.

  16. What will happen if I unsubscribe the Yearly Plan Bundle by mistake? Can I continue using the plan?

    No, you will not be able to continue using the plan as it has been forfeited. You need to subscribe to a new data plan.

  17. I have utilized part of my Program Jaringan Prihatin on a Monthly Data Plan, is it possible to utilize the remainder for purchasing a device bundle?

    Only applicants who have not utilized any portion of their Program Jaringan Prihatin subsidy are entitled for Device bundle purchase / redemption. In the case that you have already utilized a portion on a monthly data plan, you may continue to utilize the subsidy on Monthly Data plans until the full twelve months of subsidy have been utilized.

  18. I have just registered for Program Jaringan Prihatin with Tune Talk and wish to purchase a device bundle; can I purchase it anytime during the Program Jaringan Prihatin period?

    All Program Jaringan Prihatin device bundles are to be redeemed / purchased within the registration and redemption window of 5th May 2021 until 30 September 2021. Any attempt to purchase a Program Jaringan Prihatin device bundle from the 1 October 2021 onwards will not be successful.

  19. Does my device come with a warranty?

    Yes, a 1-year warranty will automatically activated once you switch on your device and it latches on to the internet.

  20. What to do if my device is faulty?

    For any faulty issue, kindly walk-in to any Vivo Service Center with your device and warranty slip. Find the nearest Vivo Service Center at http://www.vivo.com/my/support/serviceCenter

  1. Who is eligible to participate in the Jaringan Prihatin programme?

    All Malaysian citizens that are eligible for Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (“BPR”) will be eligible to participate in the Jaringan Prihatin programme. The primary applicant of BPR of each household is eligible to participate in this programme.

  2. Am I eligible for Jaringan Prihatin if I am single with no children?

    Yes, as long as you are eligible for BPR, you are considered eligible for Jaringan Prihatin. If you are single with no children, you are entitled to the subsidy allocation where you are able to receive RM15 over 12 months for a monthly data plan, or RM180 for a device package subsidy.

  3. Am I eligible for Jaringan Prihatin if I am single with children?

    Yes, as long as you are eligible for BPR, you are considered eligible for Jaringan Prihatin. If you are single with children under the age of 18, you are entitled to the subsidy allocation of RM15 per month over 12 months for a monthly data plan, or RM300 for a device package subsidy.

  4. Am I eligible for Jaringan Prihatin if I am married with no children?

    Yes, as long as you are eligible for BPR, you are considered eligible for Jaringan Prihatin. If you are married with no children, you are entitled to the subsidy allocation of RM15 over 12 months for a monthly data plan, or RM180 for a device package subsidy.

  5. Am I eligible for Jaringan Prihatin if I am married with children?

    Yes, as long as you are eligible for BPR, you are considered eligible for Jaringan Prihatin. If you are married with children under the age of 18, you are entitled to the subsidy allocation of RM15 per month over 12 months for a monthly data plan, or RM300 for a device package subsidy.

  6. My children are over 18 years old but still live in my household, am I eligible to receive the RM300 device package subsidy?

    No, you are only eligible to receive the RM300 device package.

  7. I am a Malaysian citizen married to a foreign national with children. Am I eligible for Jaringan Prihatin?

    If you are a Malaysian citizen that is eligible for BPR and are married to a foreign national, you are eligible for Jaringan Prihatin. If you have children under the age of 18, you are entitled to the RM300 subsidy allocation, whereby you are able to receive RM15 per month over 12 months for a monthly

  8. How do I know if my registration is successful to be part of Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat?

    In order to know if your registration to be part of BPR is successful, please follow the these steps:

    • Step 1: Using your internet browser, go to https://bpr.hasil.gov.my/

    • Step 2: Click “log masuk” on the top right of the webpage

    • Step 3: Enter your IC number and click “semak”

  9. Does Jaringan Prihatin apply for foreign subscribers?

    No, the Jaringan Prihatin programme is only available to Malaysian citizens whom are eligible for BPR.

  10. I am not eligible for this programme; am I able to appeal my eligibility status?

    All recipients of BPR are eligible for the Jaringan Prihatin programme. If you have been deemed to be not eligible for the Jaringan Prihatin programme, please seek further information on BPR eligibility, via the BPR website (https://bpr.hasil.gov.my) or contact the BPR hotline (1800-88-2747). The upcoming window for BPR appeal will run from 15th June – 30th June 2021.

  11. I am eligible for the Jaringan Prihatin programme and I have 2 mobile numbers. Can I claim on both numbers?

    Only one claim is allowed per National Registration Identification Card (“NRIC”) of eligible individuals. If you have two (2) mobile numbers, you may choose only one (1) mobile number that you will claim the subsidy on.

  12. How will Jaringan Prihatin subsidy recipients be paid?

    The Jaringan Prihatin subsidy recipients will be paid through approved data plans or device packages of any Service Provider they have selected.

    The exact redemption mechanism, for both prepaid and postpaid, will vary across participating Service Providers. Subsidy recipients should refer to their respective Service Providers’ websites for more information.

  13. Is a Jaringan Prihatin subsidy recipient allowed to claim Prihatin Packages from different Service Providers during the 12 month program period?

    Yes, an eligible recipient is allowed to claim the Jaringan Prihatin subsidy from up to four (4) different Service Providers over the 12 month programme period. Eligible subscribers can be only registered with one (1) Service Provider at any point in time during this period.

    Please refer to the respective Service Providers’ websites for more information on redemption and switching.

  14. Can the eligible subscriber participate in Jaringan Prihatin with more than one (1) claim on a single National Registration Identity Card (“NRIC”)?

    No. Each eligible customer is allowed only one claim per NRIC under the Jaringan Prihatin programme.

  15. Can a subsidy recipient transfer the Jaringan Prihatin Subsidy to any other person(s)?
